The Area

Cholomontas (also called "Ypsizon") is a mountain in the prefecture of Chalkidiki, with a maximum altitude of 1165 meters. It covers almost the entire eastern and central parts of the county. Covered by dense vegetation, especially deciduous trees such as oaks and hardwoods, much of the mountain is part of the network Natura 2000.
